This is a unique opportunity to join Marie Curie's Hospital Companion team and make a positive impact on the lives of people at end of life and their loved ones.

Job Responsibilities

As a Hospital Companion, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing companionship and emotional support to patients and their loved ones
  • Offering practical information and signposting to local services
  • Promoting the Hospital Companion service within the hospital setting and local community
  • Completing reports on each hospital visit
  • Attending volunteer wellbeing sessions, team meetings, and training
Requirements
