Care Team Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our care team as a Senior Support Team Leader. This role presents a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our service users and their families.

In this position, you will be responsible for leading a small team of support workers in providing high-quality care services. Your primary focus will be on conducting care plans and risk assessments, managing staff supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings.

80% of your role will involve on-shift duties, including personal care, outings, physical and adventurous activities, and holidays with service users. You will also be required to undertake general household tasks, doctor/hospital visits, and work closely with the Service Manager to deliver exceptional services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a small team of support workers in delivering high-quality care services
  • Conduct and document care plans and risk assessments
  • Manage staff supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings
  • 80% of the role will involve on-shift duties as a Support Worker
  • Provide personal care, organise outings, engage in physical and adventurous activities, and accompany service users on holidays
  • Undertake general household tasks and escort service users to medical appointments
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £32,000 - £37,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including enhanced occupational maternity and adoption pay, enhanced occupational paternity pay entitlement, Death in Service Payment, LifeWorks benefits and well-being platform, 28 days annual leave (pro rata), and a refer a friend scheme.
