Care Home Activities Coordinator

The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for creating a stimulating environment that promotes social interaction, emotional well-being, and cognitive function among residents. This will involve planning and coordinating group activities, collaborating with the care team and families, and maintaining accurate records of resident participation and feedback.
Responsibilities:- Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement activity plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of residents.
- Communication: Liaise with the care team, families, and external partners to ensure smooth execution of activities.
- Feedback and Evaluation: Gather and record feedback from residents and families to inform future activity planning.
- Education and Experience: A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in activity coordination is required.
- Skill Set: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills are essential.
- Care Approach: Knowledge of person-centred care approaches and the specific needs of individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments is necessary.
- Salary: £11.93 per hour + overtime rates + benefits
- Leave Entitlement: 30 hours per week
