Job Title: Church Administration Specialist
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing administration, buildings, finances, communications, and supporting the Vicar in planning the church's diary and events. This is a full-time role at St John's Church Colchester.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day finances using Xero accounting software and manage budgets to ensure legal and statutory obligations are met.
- Plan and oversee maintenance and repairs, and develop the church's vision for its website, communications, social media, and wider publicity.
- Support the Vicar in planning and delivering the church's vision and develop excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Xero accounting software.
- Able to develop the church's online presence.
Salary and Benefits:
