The Role: Technical Sales Manager

You will oversee the hire and sale of high-quality steel-framed temporary and permanent buildings designed, manufactured, and installed by Losberger De Boer's in-house team.

This role places you at the forefront of expanding the commercial aspects of the business across education, airports, sports, and other sectors, with further opportunities to develop the agricultural sector and healthcare arenas.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Actively seek new business within the commercial sector.
  • Engage with warehouse, facilities, contract, and project managers for both hires and sales.
  • Participate in site visits, consult clients on optimal solutions, and manage projects from start to finish.
  • Work closely with Losberger De Boer's robust design and engineering team, who provide technical guidance and enable a consultative approach to sales.

Requirements

  • Prior field sales experience.
  • Experience selling within the construction or warehousing sector, ideally with temporary, permanent, modular, or building envelope solutions.
  • A full, clean driving license.
  • A strong drive for sales and business development.
  • A commitment to working with integrity and delivering projects on time and to a high standard.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage projects from start to finish.

The Package for the Technical Sales Manager

  • An uncapped commission structure (40% of base salary, with 15% of UK sales turnover, 10% from group targets, and 15% for achieving specific revenue goals).

Location

Must be within a 1-hour commute of the Brackley office, including Brackley, Banbury, Bicester, Buckingham, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Northampton, Royal Leamington Spa, and Stratford-upon-Avon.
