The successful candidate can expect to earn up to £500 per day on a self-employed basis, with opportunities for weekend working across the Lincolnshire area.

Job Description

As a Hearing Care Specialist for Adults, you will be responsible for providing high-quality adult audiology services to patients, including hearing assessments, hearing aid fitting, and rehabilitation advice.

You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough adult audiology assessments using Pure Tone Audiometry, Microsuction, and Full Masking techniques.
  • Develop and implement personalized hearing rehabilitation plans, including first assessments, hearing aid fitting, and guidance for patients and carers.
  • Provide diagnostic procedures during ENT clinics for adults and older children, collaborating with specialist audiologists as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient notes and information, adhering to clinical governance standards.
  • Understand patient pathways and maintain accurate waiting list data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Audiology or an equivalent qualification with completed clinical placements.
  • Experience with microsuction techniques.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse patient groups.
  • Flexibility to travel across the Lincolnshire area.
