Job Title: Clinical Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered (Adult) Nurse or Paramedic to join our team at the NHS.

In this role, you will play an integral part in providing essential care to vulnerable individuals who may not have access to professional healthcare support otherwise.

The successful candidate will require a comprehensive induction program, including foundation training and shadow shifts.

You will work on a zero-hour contract, undertaking 12-hour shifts as required.

Main Duties:
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and provide care to detainees as needed.
  • Manage minor illnesses or injuries, referring more serious cases to specialists when necessary.
  • Undertake forensic examinations of individuals in police custody, recording injuries and collecting DNA evidence if required.
  • Assess and manage injuries to police officers and staff, providing expert opinion when necessary.
  • Participate in court proceedings following relevant training.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and implement safeguarding pathways.

Salary:

£35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
