Public Sector Sales Lead

As a Public Sector Sales Lead at Ecotricity, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth in our Public Sector sales channel. With a strong focus on leadership and coaching, you will oversee the day-to-day management of a sales team focused on public sector sales.

The core responsibility of this role is to deliver on sales channel targets aligned with our overall B2B sales plan for public sector clients. You will provide exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the Public Sector Sales Team, ensuring they successfully manage existing and new customer portfolios and frameworks.

A key aspect of this role is building long-term relationships with public sector clients to drive acquisition and retention of strategic contracts across our energy and bespoke solutions. You will also collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, finance, trading, customer service, and credit to ensure we maintain strong customer satisfaction and optimise business performance.

In terms of skills and qualifications, you will require:

  • A deep understanding of Public Sector Procurement (required)
  • Strong analytical ability to assess and interpret data and identify opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to a senior level of stakeholder (internal & external)

Additionally, you will need:

  • GCSEs in Maths and English (C grade or above) or equivalent qualifications
