We are seeking an experienced Sales Leadership Manager to join our team at Matthew Clark Bibendum. As a key member of our sales leadership, you will play a critical role in driving growth and revenue across our On Trade channels.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional with significant account management experience, ideally from the On Trade sector. You will be responsible for leading a team of Area Sales Managers, developing and implementing successful prospecting plans, and ensuring effective implementation of regional business unit (RBU) plans to deliver growth strategies.

You will work closely with Key Account Directors to develop and execute prospecting plans, maintain profitable investment strategies, and select, develop, and sustain a highly motivated team with clear performance objectives. Additionally, you will implement robust reporting and monitoring systems for absence and performance management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Area Sales Managers to achieve budgeted GP and distribution targets
  • Develop and implement successful prospecting plans with Key Account Directors
  • Maintain profitable investment strategies in respect of pricing, capital equipment, and listing fees
  • Select, develop, and sustain a highly motivated team with clear performance objectives
  • Implement robust reporting and monitoring systems for absence and performance management
Requirements
  • Significant account management experience, ideally from the On Trade sector
  • Experience in selling brands in the On Trade
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel capabilities
  • Desired: WSET Level 3, but not essential
  • Full and clean driving license

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and location. We offer a competitive salary package, which includes benefits such as pension scheme, health insurance, and opportunities for career development.
