Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Professional to join our team in Whitehaven and surrounding areas. As a key member of our clinical partnership with Everyturn Mental Health and Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals impacted by mental health challenges.

You will assist customers with practical daily living tasks, help them achieve their goals and aspirations, and contribute to the development of support plans. Your role will involve running community events to promote wellbeing in the Copeland area, working collaboratively with colleagues, and maintaining accurate records.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Experience of caring for others, preferably in a healthcare or social care setting
  2. Able to work on your own initiative, remain calm under pressure, and have a resilient approach
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to use technology to update support plans and collaborate with colleagues
  5. Enhanced DBS check required
