Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our team at Whitehaven. As a Support Worker, you will work closely with our customers to identify their needs and develop tailored support plans to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and group support to customers to enable them to manage their daily lives and make informed decisions.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, such as healthcare workers and social workers, to ensure seamless delivery of support services.
- Identify and address any issues or concerns that may impact customer well-being.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, families, and carers to promote trust and confidence.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will receive an annual salary of £23,464, plus excellent benefits including a Health Cash Plan.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners.
- A clear understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection.
- The ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- An NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Driving Requirements
Driving is essential for this role, with a full driving licence required.
