Job Title: Cardiology Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiology Support Worker to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Cardiology Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients with a range of cardiac conditions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Cardiac Physiologists, Nurses, and Doctors to provide support and care to patients in the Cardiology Department.
  • Perform ECGs, fit cardiac monitors, and assist with other investigations such as Echo, Exercise Testing, 6 minute walk tests, and Pacemaker checks.
  • Contribute to housekeeping and other departmental duties, including general tidiness, equipment cleaning, stock replenishment, and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
  • GCSE Maths and English.
  • NVQ 3 (or equivalent).
  • Care Certificate.
  • Certificate in Electrocardiography (SCST).
