Job Title: Field Care Supervisor

About the Role

The Field Care Supervisor will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care support services by carrying out a range of functions in the field. This includes assessing and reviewing individual services, supervising, instructing, and supporting care workers, and working with care coordinators to plan realistic and effective care worker rotas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and review individual services to ensure the highest quality care support is delivered
  • Supervise, instruct, and support care workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care
  • Work with care coordinators to plan realistic and effective care worker rotas, taking into account the needs of individual service users and the skills and attributes of care workers
  • Carry out regular reviews of individual services, including repeated and renewed needs and risk assessments
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary reviews of service users' needs as required
  • Shadow new care workers in the field to ensure their competence
  • Carry out on-site observations and evaluations of care worker practice as part of routine supervision, in response to performance concerns, or as directed

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in carrying out initial risk and needs assessments for individual service users, working in partnership with service users, their families, carers, advocates, healthcare professionals, and others to ensure seamless delivery of holistic packages of individual care support.
