Resident Liaison Officer

We are seeking a Resident Liaison Officer to join our Wates Living Space Planned Maintenance Team in the North East region. The ideal candidate will be living within the Newcastle area, as this role will require regular office attendance and travel around the surrounding areas.

The key focus for this role will be to liaise with tenants and project staff regarding cyclical works to ensure a safe and secure environment. Key accountabilities will include:

  • Supporting the lead supervisor in the construction of the programme of works per annum and the operational team in delivering programmes on time, of good quality, and value for money.
  • Ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders and attending regular progress meetings.
  • Providing clear understanding of works to occur to tenants and issuing notices for access, informing the site team of any reasonable adjustments required.
  • Maintaining a complaints procedure and dealing with disputes and damage claims.
  • Attending community events organised.
  • Reporting all defects to the Project Lead and advising on any trends (common defects).
  • Continually checking that our promises are being delivered.
