Salary: £24,404 - £24,790 per annum



The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a range of teams, including facility services and civic management. This role involves working in various locations across the City of Newcastle and Gateshead, using a council vehicle to complete tasks.



Job Description




  • Deliver cleaning services to schools and public buildings, ensuring a high standard of service is maintained.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Develop strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Use your own initiative to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be flexible with your approach to working times, including variable shifts and travel to different locations.


Required Skills and Qualifications




  • A full clean driving licence is essential for this role.
  • You should be a team player, able to use your own initiative and develop good relationships with others.
  • A positive attitude, self-motivation, and ability to work to fixed deadlines are also essential.
  • Good communication skills, including written and spoken English, are required.
  • You should be capable of regular stooping, bending, lifting, and carrying.
