Health and Justice Navigator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Health and Justice Navigator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive health and social care assessments to individuals in custody, identifying their needs and developing effective support plans.
- Work collaboratively with criminal justice agencies, health and social care professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with individuals, carers, and professionals, promoting trust and confidence in our services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring best practice and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities, enhancing your skills and knowledge to meet the evolving needs of our service users.
- Professional recognized qualification in a relevant field, such as nursing, social work, or occupational therapy.
- Knowledge of mental health issues, learning disabilities, and the criminal justice system.
- Experience of working with vulnerable individuals, including those with complex needs and challenging behaviors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
