We are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Performance Director to join our dynamic Business Consulting team at Grant Thornton (UK). As a market leading change advisory practice, we help businesses reduce costs, refine pricing strategies, and enhance their margins using sophisticated data analytics and problem-solving mindset.

With our exceptional growth rate, we need someone to lead mid-size projects, develop strategic business plans, and participate in operational due diligence assignments. You will work closely with senior leaders in well-known and large UK and International businesses to identify risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead mid-size projects and drive commercial discussions with customers or suppliers in various sectors.
  • Analyse financial and non-financial data to identify drivers of business performance and develop strategic business plans.
  • Participate in operational due diligence assignments to identify risks and opportunities in businesses.
  • Develop proposals for Business Development activities and contribute to practice management within the wider Business Consulting team.
Requirements:
  • Possess ability to lead a mid-size project with two to four direct reports and scope the project based on client ask.
  • Have exposure to commercial discussions, excellent financial knowledge, and creative problem-solving ability.
  • Show open-minded, flexible, and adaptable approach to changing priorities and excellent report writing skills.

We offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits. If you have experience in line management, consulting, data analysis, financial modelling, and business development, it would be advantageous but not essential. ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified candidates are also welcome to apply.
