Administrative Support Specialist for Operations Team

We are seeking a dedicated administrator to join a dynamic team within the operations department. This position involves providing essential support for daily administrative tasks and coordinating activities across various departments, including managing the calendar and facilitating meetings for the Chief Operating Officer and senior operational leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage the calendar and organize appointments/meetings for the COO and senior operational leadership team, both internally and externally. Record and distribute meeting minutes, action summaries, and reports for committee and departmental meetings. Coordinate arrangements for site visitors, including room bookings and catering requests. Provide administrative support for recruitment processes. Organize team events and meetings for the operations team. Facilitate team inductions for new employees and visitors. Arrange visas and book travel, both domestically and internationally. Submit and/or approve expense claims for science and operations teams. Maintain the on-site rota with updates on staff changes. Support onsite events and meetings by ensuring meeting rooms are prepared and assisting with visitor check-ins. Provide ad-hoc administrative assistance as needed. Demonstrate a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required.Qualifications for Success:
