Medical Secretary/ Administrative Assistant

The Transformation Unit is seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Medical Secretary/Administrative Assistant to join their team in Oxford. As a key member of the Geratology Administration department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of outpatient clinics.
You will be responsible for managing patient contact, booking appointments, and rearranging clinics when necessary. Strong IT skills and experience with Microsoft applications are essential, as well as the ability to learn new computer systems.
This is a Band 4 position with some home working options available. You will work closely with administrative and medical staff to ensure the seamless coordination of clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient contact and booking appointments
- Rearrange clinics when necessary
- Liaise with administrative and medical staff
- Ensure smooth clinic operations
Requirements:
