About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Category Manager to lead the success of our Plumbing and Heating category across our branch network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Management:
  • Develop and execute a winning strategy for the Plumbing and Heating category that aligns with our business goals.
  • Monitor category performance, identifying opportunities for growth, efficiency, and increased profitability.
  • Track and report on key metrics such as sales, margins, and stock levels.
  • Supplier Management & Negotiation:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and agreements.
  • Collaborate with branches to understand local market demands and adjust the product offering as needed.
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies and campaigns to support branch sales targets.
  • Product Expertise & Innovation:
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in Plumbing and Heating.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging product literature and digital content.
Requirements
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in category management, preferably in the Plumbing and Heating sector or related industries.
  • Strong commercial sense with a history of delivering profitable growth.
  • Experience in supplier negotiation and relationship management.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP or procurement systems.
