Job Description

PagerDuty is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Enterprise Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new business opportunities and managing net-new business deals with a focus on strategic planning and team selling approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating and developing new business deals with an emphasis on strategic planning and team selling approach
  • Partnering with our BDRs, Executive team, Solution Consultants, Marketing, and Alliances teams to support your efforts and drive success
  • Highlighting the unique value and benefits of PagerDuty's products and services to customers
  • Establishing and maintaining genuine connections with customers
  • Managing and closing complex, multi-product sales cycles with new logos in the Global 2000 segment
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of field sales experience, preferably in software sales/SaaS sales
  • 6+ years of new logo/new customer acquisition closing experience
  • 4+ years of experience successfully selling into Strategic Enterprise accounts in the Global 2000 space
  • Thorough understanding of the back office within organizations and the challenges they face to execute on their roles
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, CoM, Challenger Sales)
