Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Worker at ROC Northwest. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and care to children and young people with complex needs.

About the Role:
  • Provide individualized support and care to children and young people in a residential setting, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of personalized care plans, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Participate in the delivery of therapeutic programs and activities, promoting the emotional and behavioral well-being of our residents.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Support the development of life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and time management, to promote independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Collaborate with the residential team to ensure a safe and supportive environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • A UK manual driving license is required for this role.
  • Ability to work long day shifts, including sleep-ins, and rotating shifts, including weekends.
  • Desirable: Children's Residential Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
