Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Worker at ROC Northwest. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to children and young people with complex needs.

About the Role:

As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores
  • Encouraging participation in activities, such as education, leisure, and social events
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with our young people, their families, and other professionals
  • Contributing to the creation and implementation of individualized care plans
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A manual UK driving license (not automatic)
  • The ability to work long day shifts, including sleep-ins, on a rotating basis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our young people
