Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Worker at ROC Northwest. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and care to children and young people with complex needs.

About the Role:
  • Provide individualized support and care to children and young people in a residential setting, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of personalized care plans, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Participate in the delivery of activities and programs designed to promote socialization, education, and personal growth, such as arts and crafts, sports, and educational workshops.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, household chores, and personal care, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Monitor and report any concerns or incidents, adhering to our safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the protection of our residents.
Requirements:
  • A UK manual driving license is required for this role, as you will be expected to use company vehicles.
  • Ability to work long day shifts, including sleep-ins, and participate in rotating shifts, including weekends.
  • Desirable: A Children's Residential Level 3 qualification, which offers a higher rate of pay.
