About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Specialist to join our team in East Dunbartonshire.

As a Community Care Specialist, you will provide support to adults with learning disabilities or complex brain injuries in their own homes, communities, and social settings. Your duties will be varied, and no two days will be the same, allowing you the opportunity to learn and develop while supporting people to live fuller happy lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with diverse needs and preferences
  • Assist with daily living tasks, household chores, and participation in activities that promote health and wellbeing
  • Develop and maintain trusting relationships with service users, families, and colleagues
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships. A full driving license is desirable due to the location of some services.
