Job Summary:

Reed is seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to provide expert support to our client in Kingston for a 12-month maternity cover. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR practices and be proactive in their approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR advice and support to managers and employees on a range of HR issues, including employee relations, absence, and grievances.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with data protection laws.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including absence, disciplinaries, and grievances, in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Support the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, screening candidates, and organizing interviews to ensure the best fit for the role.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aligned with the company's strategic goals, including training and development sessions.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with data protection laws to protect employee data.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or significant HR advisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices to ensure compliance and fairness.
  • Proficient in the use of HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite to manage HR tasks efficiently.
