About the Central Government Sales Director Role

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team committed to building current relationships while establishing new ones. As a key member of our UK Government sector team, you'll work closely with Solution Engineering, Product, Marketing, Delivery, and Customer success teams.

Your primary responsibilities will include executing the sales go-to-market strategy, identifying new opportunities, building our pipeline, winning new deals, and meeting company targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Head of UK Public Sector and the Director of Government Solutions to define and execute the sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the UK Central Government Sector.
  • Consistently deliver against sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.

Requirements

  • A good understanding of the Government Sector's challenges and the ability to provide consultative advice to customers through a sales-based approach.
  • A track record of positioning and selling Enterprise software directly or as part of an ecosystem.
  • Experience building partnerships with System Integrators, Cloud platform providers, and Consultancy organizations.
  • A good understanding of Public Sector operational and buying processes.
  • Experience nurturing accounts and identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities with existing clients.
  • Ability to integrate into effective sales teams and lead opportunities.
  • Existing relationships within the UK Central Government.
  • Expertise working and solution-selling within the UK Central Government.
  • Strong commercial and entrepreneurial qualities.
