Job Title:

Maintenance Engineer (Multi Skilled)

Job Summary:

The Recruitment Co. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Milton Keynes. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of equipment, machinery, and peripherals, and performing repairs and maintenance tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure equipment and machinery operate efficiently and at full capability, maintaining a continuous production process.
  • Carry out repairs on machines as part of breakdown or preventative maintenance.
  • Complete relevant paperwork and maintenance logs accurately and in accordance with company procedure.
  • Adhere to quality, hygiene, and food safety policies in all duties.
  • Perform other duties as reasonably required by supervision.
Requirements:
  • Served apprenticeship in an electrical biased environment is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and ability to read schematics, with a good understanding of safe working practices.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and ability to read schematics, with a good understanding of safe working within this environment.
  • 17th or 18th edition electrical regulations and full understanding of all energy isolation, safe working, and the use of L.O.T.O.
  • Demonstrable electrical fault finding skills and good understanding of all control systems.
  • Experience in a FMCG background and cross-functional M&E multi-skilled.
  • Must have a clean as you go work ethic and a good understanding of the basic fundamentals of 5S in the workplace.
