About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Optimal Maintenance Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of maintenance tasks and projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough property inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential issues for accurate quoting.
  • Perform scheduled repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently to maximize earning potential.
  • Respond promptly to emergency callouts and address urgent maintenance issues, offering opportunities for additional earnings.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot various maintenance problems accurately to provide precise quotes and minimize costs.
  • Use specialized tools to enhance efficiency on each job while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance work for transparent billing processes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction trade.
  • Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and joinery skills.
  • Hold a DBS Certificate.
  • Reliable and dedicated to delivering high-quality work consistently.
  • Ability to confidently quote and win jobs.
  • Proficient in using a smartphone.

  • Equipped with a basic toolkit and a Van.
