Job Title: Maintenance EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting thorough property inspections, performing scheduled repairs and maintenance tasks, and responding to emergency callouts.
You will work closely with our clients to understand their maintenance needs and provide accurate quotes for work. Your expertise in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other maintenance-related areas will be essential in diagnosing and troubleshooting problems, and providing high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance requirements and potential issues
- Perform scheduled repairs and maintenance tasks to maximise earning potential
- Respond to emergency callouts and address urgent maintenance issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other maintenance-related problems
- Utilise specialised tools and equipment to carry out repairs and installations effectively
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide updates on maintenance progress
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction trade
- Proficient in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and joinery skills
- Holder of a DBS Certificate/check
- Demonstrating skills in diagnosing and conducting on-site repairs, sourcing materials, and maintaining high standards of work
- Reliable and dedicated to delivering work of the highest standard consistently
- Ability to confidently quote and win work
- Proficient in using smartphone
- Competitive call-out rate of £40 per hour and 50/50 split on quotes won (labour only)
