Electrical Maintenance Technician

Electrical Maintenance Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced electrical maintenance technician to join our team at Air Cool Engineering Service & Maintenance Ltd, working from our South London office based in Erith, Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance and remedial work repairs on our expanding portfolio of residential developments and high-end domestic properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on electrical systems, including emergency lighting tests, ATS functional testing, and fire alarm testing, and provide detailed reports to our office team and clients via our engineer cloud-based software package.
- Conduct site surveys to assess new enquiries and determine appropriate system requirements, and advise on recommended remedial works in accordance with current regulations.
- Undertake small and large-scale LED lighting replacement works, ensuring high-quality installations and minimal disruption to clients.
Requirements:
- Strong electrical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems, including fire protection equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for system installation and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

Experience:
- Electrical Maintenance: 3 years (preferred).
Work Location: On the road, covering South London and surrounding areas.
Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year.
