Maternity Booking Clerk/Receptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Maternity Booking Clerk/Receptionist. This role will involve providing administrative support for the maternity services, including managing referrals, phone lines, and preparing clinics.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure, and have a strong understanding of customer care principles.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Main Duties of the JobThe post holder will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative support for the maternity services, including managing referrals, phone lines, and preparing clinics.
- Dealing directly with patients and relatives over the telephone and in person, accurately registering and updating details onto the hospital and national databases.
- Assisting in any enquiries from internal or external agencies.
