About the Role

The Workforce Transformation Manager will play a crucial role in driving workforce transformation across the NHS England region. This position will be part of the Workforce Supply and Transformation function, which aims to improve and innovate workforce redesign, optimising the mix of skills and effectiveness through collaboration and partnership working with Integrated Care Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within the organisation and externally with Integrated Care Systems/Integrated Care Boards, educational institutions, and other essential partners to facilitate the strategic implementation of national and regional priorities, strategies, and policies.
  • Provide dedicated support to workforce transformation projects and deliver a Workforce Transformation Programme that reflects Workforce, Training and Education Directorate and ICS workforce transformation priorities.
  • Lead projects that require innovative new approaches to education, training, workforce, and employment models.
Main Duties
  • Assist the senior Workforce Transformation team in establishing and maintaining trusted relationships and influential networks with external, senior stakeholders under challenging conditions.
  • Work with senior external stakeholders on complex and contentious issues in a political environment relating to local workforce transformation priorities.
