Job Title: Associate Postgraduate Dean for Workforce Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Postgraduate Dean for Workforce Development. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our workforce and help shape the future of healthcare in England.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of workforce transformation strategies across the region. This will involve working closely with stakeholders, including NHS trusts, education providers, and professional bodies, to identify and address workforce gaps and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of our patients and communities.

The role will also involve providing leadership and support to our faculty development team, working closely with trainers and educators to develop and deliver high-quality education and training programs. This will include developing and implementing leadership development strategies, working with our leadership team to identify and address leadership gaps, and providing coaching and mentoring to our leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of workforce transformation strategies across the region.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and address workforce gaps and develop innovative solutions.
  • Provide leadership and support to our faculty development team.
  • Develop and implement leadership development strategies.
  • Work with our leadership team to identify and address leadership gaps.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to our leaders.
Requirements
  • Primary clinical healthcare qualification.
  • Membership/Fellowship of a College etc.
  • Attendance at courses aimed to support educational development.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills inc ability to challenge, influence and motivate.
  • Strong sense of vision, demonstrable evidence of innovation.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, written and presentation skills.
