Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Administrative Support Professional to join our Continuing Healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide specialist administration support and advice to the team, ensuring that all tasks and projects are planned, managed, and delivered effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day supervision of the administration team and ensure that all administration processes are followed accurately and timely.
- Support the scheduling function of the business team and schedule appointments for Nurse Coordinators to consider eligibility for CHC.
- Liaise with members of the public, stakeholders, and NHS partners to provide excellent customer service.
- Manage electronic filing systems, ensuring confidentiality and maintaining information governance regulations.
- Support colleagues in training, induction, and personal development, providing practical guidance in various tasks and duties as required.
- C-coordinate with Providers, Professionals, and Individuals to ensure seamless communication.
- Work within established policies, procedures, protocols, and systems to ensure quality standards and performance as directed by Business Managers.
Requirements
- Mandatory Qualifications:
- Minimum GCSE qualification in English Language & Maths or equivalent.
- RSA III word processing or equivalent experience.
- NVQ Level 3 Administration or significant relevant experience.
- Essential Skills:
- Extensive organizational skills and competencies.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of all administration support and duties.
- Able to respond appropriately to telephone and other issues with tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
- Desirable Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Significant administrative experience, including maintaining office systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programs like Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Experience of applying the Confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
Salary Information
The estimated annual salary for this position is around £24,000 - £30,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
