Manager of Adult Support Services

We are seeking an experienced Care Manager to lead our Supported Living Services in the UK. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing services for adults with complex needs and a proven track record of success.
About the RoleThe Care Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. This will involve ensuring that all statutory and legal obligations are fulfilled, maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory guidance, and promoting a culture of improvement and best practice.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a CQC-registered manager and a strong understanding of the Care Quality Commission's regulations. They will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of care professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the highest level of care standards are upheld in line with the CQC.
- Provide support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, sensory impairment, and behaviours which may challenge.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory guidance.
The Care Manager will also be responsible for leading and motivating a dedicated staff team, providing support and regular supervisions to enable their development. They will contribute proactively to the development, implementation, maintenance, and management of systems, processes, procedures, and/or standards within the area of responsibility.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Health and Social Care Management or working towards.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience and a proven track record of successful management of services for individuals with complex needs in a supervisory role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of care professionals.

The estimated salary for this role is £35,250 rising to £36,750 (after CQC registration).
