We are seeking an experienced Education Professional to provide high-quality instruction to incarcerated youth and adults in our correctional facilities.

About the Job

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals who are looking to turn their lives around. As an Education Professional, you will be responsible for teaching Adult Basic Education (ABE) and General Educational Diploma (GED) courses, as well as providing individualized support to students. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our students receive the best possible education and support to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach ABE and GED courses to incarcerated youth and adults
  • Provide individualized support to students, including tutoring and mentoring
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of our students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant educational field
  • Experience teaching adults and/or youth, preferably in a correctional setting
  • Knowledge of adult education principles and practices
  • Certification or licensure as a teacher or educator
