We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Liaison Officer to join our team in London and the Home Counties. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, engage with the community, and promote trust and confidence.

Annual Salary Estimate

The estimated annual salary for this position is £35,000-£45,000, based on qualifications and experience.

Role Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

Main Tasks:

  1. Responding promptly and professionally to resident concerns, complaints, and enquiries.
  2. Tracking and reporting complaints to identify patterns and suggest improvements.
  3. Conducting home visits to discuss issues, provide updates, and ensure resident satisfaction.
  4. Authorising compensation or goodwill gestures as required.
  5. Organising community events, resident surgeries, and other engagement activities.
  6. Collaborating with the performance team to support vulnerable residents.
  7. Preparing and presenting reports, surveys, and feedback to internal teams and clients.
  8. Supporting sustainability initiatives and adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in customer engagement and satisfaction improvement.
  • Strong understanding of customer care, particularly concerning vulnerable populations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to impact and resolve issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive approach with the capacity to manage tasks independently and collaboratively.
  • A valid UK driving license and access to a smartphone (Android or iOS).
  • Experience working with local authorities or housing associations.
  • Understanding of reactive maintenance services.
  • Familiarity with complaint handling procedures.
