We are seeking a highly motivated Community Engagement Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering the Leisure Strategy Action Plan, working closely with partner providers/agencies to maximise opportunities and participation in physical activity and exercise across the borough.

The role involves developing the Community Sports & Physical Activity Network and Women & Girls Working Group, as well as being part of a small sports development team responsible for delivering exciting sports programmes such as the London Youth Games, Richmond Inclusive Sports and Exercise Programme (RISE), Mini Marathon, and other programmes.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of trends in the sports/leisure/health sectors and experience of research and development, as well as experience of partnership working, delivering impactful projects that meet budgets, political requirements and support delivery outcomes.
