About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Support Officer for Community Engagement. The post holder will work with colleagues across the wider EngineeringUK organisation and with external stakeholders to support the delivery of the Mayor of London's work to reduce inequalities.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to and support the delivery of flagship projects such as Building a Fairer City and the Workforce Integration Network's Design Lab programme.

About the Team

The EngineeringUK Communities and Social Policy Unit is a collaborative team of professionals who work together to address structural inequalities across the capital. The post holder will work closely with the team to provide administrative support, coordinate events, and manage databases and spreadsheets.

  • Provide general administrative support to the Equalities team, including:
  • Administrative support to team meetings.
  • Contributing to effective communication and information systems.
Person Specification

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Experience of delivering administrative support to senior staff in a high-profile organisation.
  • Evidence of providing administrative and project support to major events.
  • High competence in Microsoft Office packages.
