Automotive Repair Technician

Austin Fraser is a national accident repair centre seeking a skilled MET Technician. As an MET Technician, you will play a crucial role in repairing customers' vehicles to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing vehicle damage and identifying mechanical and electrical components that require repair
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
- Stripping and refitting damaged parts on vehicles
- Repairing or replacing damaged panels and components to meet required standards
- Fixing mechanical damage and ensuring vehicles are safe for use
- Aligning wheels for optimal performance
- Ordering necessary parts from the parts department
- Working from job sheets and prioritizing tasks effectively
- Preparing invoices for completed work
Requirements:
- ATA qualification and 3 years of experience in the motor vehicle refinishing trade
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Ability to work under pressure and independently as part of a team
- Safety consciousness and adherence to protocols
Package Details:
The successful candidate can expect a salary of £62,000 per annum, plus up to £800 monthly bonus, depending on experience. This role offers a competitive package with opportunities for growth and development within the company.
