Job Summary

At Auto Skills UK, we are seeking a skilled Automotive Repair Specialist to join our team. As a MET Technician/Strip Fitter, you will play a crucial role in repairing damaged vehicles according to manufacturers' specifications in our state-of-the-art Bodyshop.

We offer a competitive salary of £38,500 per annum, which is commensurate with industry standards and reflects the demands of this position. You will work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre, adhering to correct repair techniques and producing work that meets factory specifications and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Technician/Strip Fitter and technical qualification (NVQ/VCQ/SVQ/ATA). Previous experience working as a MET Technician/Strip Fitter in a busy body shop and strong team player with self-motivation are essential for this role. Our ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, ensuring high-quality repairs and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair damaged vehicles according to manufacturers' specifications.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and adhere to quality control procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
