Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join the Timely Team in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Cambridge. The successful candidate will contribute to research that aims to improve mental healthcare pathways for children and young people.

About the Role

The Research Assistant will work closely with two Research Associates to lead qualitative research activities, including interviews, focus groups, and workshops with various stakeholders. The role involves supporting a three-stage research study, including literature reviews, qualitative data collection and analysis, preparing presentations, and contributing to publications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature reviews and qualitative data collection and analysis
  • Prepare presentations and contribute to publications
  • Support administrative tasks for the team
  • Collaborate with multiple agencies and industry partners

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a degree in a relevant field of study, familiarity with qualitative research methods, and prior experience of working with members of the public and/or young people.
