Customer Service and Business Administration Professional

Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust seeks a committed and accountable individual to fill the role of Customer Service and Business Administration Professional. This position involves delivering excellence in customer service and business administration, treating colleagues, patients, and service users with respect, and sharing the Trust values.
This is an opportunity to begin a career in customer service and business administration, gain a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Award, and develop essential skills in customer service and administration.
The Apprenticeship programme provides future pathways into career areas, including:
- Patient-facing services leading to Receptionists, Medical Secretary support, and general administration roles.
- Developing IT skills, handling sensitive and confidential information, phone calls, and communication skills with various professionals and service users.
To be eligible for this position, applicants must have a right to work in the UK or hold pre-settled or settled status, and have been a UK or EU resident for the last three years or have indefinite leave to remain with documents not due to expire during the apprenticeship contract.
Key requirements include:
- Minimum 4 GCSEs at grade 8-3 (A*-D) or equivalent, including Maths and English.
- Experience of dealing with the public on the telephone and/or face-to-face.
Knowledge and skills required:
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of other Microsoft packages.
- Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and Confidentiality.
Estimated salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience.
