Job Title: Deputy Manager, Children and Families Service
About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join Cornwall Council as Deputy Manager of the Children and Families Service. This role involves supporting children and young people who are in the care of the Local Authority and may have experienced abuse and trauma.
We follow a trauma-informed, low-arousal model of support to enable transformation of children's lived experiences. If you are passionate about working with children and want to make a positive impact, we encourage you to apply for this challenging yet rewarding opportunity.
Key Responsibilities- Support children and young people in our residential services;
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement care plans;
- Maintain accurate records and report incidents as required.
The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a generous annual leave entitlement and opportunities for career development.
