Business Development Executive

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in driving sales growth for our client. Based in Sheffield, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying new business opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large, niche manufacturing company at an exciting time in their journey.
About the Role
You will be working in a fast-paced environment, reaching out to old and new clients to rebuild lasting relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities. You will also support existing clients with their recent orders and assist them in identifying products that match their needs. Your responsibilities will include liaising with various teams within the company, including dispatch, hauliers, purchasing, accounts, and external sales teams. Additionally, you will build strong client profiles to better assist your efforts in both new and existing business. You will also support the wider sales process by issuing owners manuals, processing orders, and handling customer service throughout. With estimated earnings of £30,000 - £38,000 per annum, this is a great opportunity for those looking to progress in their career.
Your Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will also need to be able to work effectively within a team and individually. Previous experience in sales and ideally some technical or manufacturing background would be beneficial. Additionally, you should have experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
