Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team at Metsä Wood UK. Based in Boston, Lincolnshire, this role will cover our Kings Lynn, Norfolk site.

About the Role:
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the company, contributing to the Company's HSE commitments in highlighting and promoting best practice.
  • Assist in the management and control of outstanding non-conformances with the Company's Integrated Management System.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented against the management system.
  • Ensure working practices are safe and comply with legislation, maintaining relevant quality and environmental control procedures in accordance.
About You:
  • You have a minimum 2 years' experience working in a safety role, with a strong understanding of Safety and Environmental systems and processes.
  • You possess good interpersonal skills and a willingness to collaborate with people at all levels of the business, along with numerate data analysis skills and Microsoft Office competence.
  • IOSH Health & Safety management qualification or similar is required as a minimum requirement.
