Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Linxon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our Electrical Transmission Projects team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing EPC substation projects and site project management, with a strong focus on budget and cost control.

This is a challenging role that requires exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience leading project teams through the full project life cycle from tender to handover. You will be responsible for ensuring high safety standards and timely project delivery, as well as managing project revenue and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring high safety standards for safe and timely project delivery, site mobilisation, and meeting critical project milestones.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for tender preparation, providing essential support and guidance throughout the process.
  • Leading project planning and execution to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Tracking progress to ensure timely project delivery and resolving any delays promptly.
  • Ensuring adherence to project key milestones and deadlines.
  • Overseeing and actively engaging with the engineering process to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Tracking and coordinating the procurement process to maintain timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Overseeing the project procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and services aligned with project schedules.
  • Facilitating effective integration and communication between suppliers, engineering teams, site personnel, and clients.
  • Maintaining a strong presence on-site during the construction phase, through commissioning, and up to energisation, ensuring all activities meet quality and safety standards.
  • Overseeing the final delivery and handover of the project, ensuring full compliance and client satisfaction.
  • Managing project revenue and budget, tracking costs, and ensuring profitability while meeting safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Electrical Transmission projects, including Civil Construction.
  • Extensive years of experience managing EPC substation projects, with a strong focus on site project management.
  • Relevant years of experience in project management.
  • Experience leading project teams through the full project life cycle from tender to handover.
  • Experience managing budget and cost control, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of Engineering procurement and construction processes and the ability to manage Engineering, material and site work delivery schedules.
  • Experience in health, safety, and environmental management, particularly with respect to CDM regulations and site safety.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and engaging with clients and suppliers.
  • Proven experience with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices with Electrical substation.
  • Experience in risk mitigation & opportunity management.
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
