About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Handler to join our Total Loss department at Ageas Insurance Limited. As a Claims Handler, you will be responsible for assessing and resolving vehicle damage claims in a fair and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the circumstances of each claim and determine the extent of damage to the vehicle.
  • Identify potential indicators of fraud and take appropriate action to investigate and resolve the claim.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and expectations, and provide regular updates on the status of their claim.
  • Make informed decisions regarding the payment or rejection of claims, within the limits of your authority.
  • Manage a caseload of claims, ensuring accurate and timely documentation and communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in claims handling or a related field, with a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and investigate potential indicators of fraud.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
