Job Title: Director of Procurement and ICT Transformation

At Ardagh Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Procurement and ICT Transformation to lead our global ICT procurement function. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement plans that drive business growth, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement global procurement strategies for ICT, aligned with Ardagh's overall business objectives.
  • Lead a team of procurement professionals to identify and negotiate with suppliers, ensuring the best terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to align procurement activity with business objectives.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
  • Oversee the creation, negotiation, and management of contracts for ICT products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor contract renewals and manage contract lifecycle effectively.
Requirements:
  • University degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or direct equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience developing and implementing procurement strategies relating to information and communication technology (minimum of 10-years).
  • Expertise in core procurement competencies including category management, supplier relationship management, digital procurement and automation, sustainability, compliance and governance, risk management, and contracting.
  • Proven ability to work in a cross-functional team in a multicultural international organization leading change.
  • Proven track record of managing global procurement operations.
